Revolutionizing Sports Training and Rehab: Sand Studio Partners with PantherTec through AirDroid Remote Support

[Singapore, Jurong West] - We are thrilled to announce our recent collaboration with PantherTec, which is set to redefine the way human movement is learned, leveraging the power of our product AirDroid Remote Support.

PantherTec is a sports tech and rehab tech company with a unique patented system of smart, body-worn feedback devices, that ‘learn’ a movement with the wearer, then ‘teach’ it back with instructive vibrations felt through the devices - during the movement. The system is called Kinesthetic Awareness Training (KAT) and the vibration feedback is controlled via IOS or Android mobile app. The vibrations are transmitted through the body-worn devices in real-time during the actual movement. The learned movements are stored in the app, allowing the wearer to self-correct on their own, without needing a coach or physical therapist present.

The integration of the KAT system with AirDroid Remote Support creates new features called ‘KAT Coach AnyWhere and Rehab Anywhere Powered by AirDroid’. It offers a remote learning experience over WIFI where coaches or rehab specialists actually control instructional vibrations that the athlete or patient can FEEL - across the world. The real-time sessions are customized to their needs, by the coach or rehab specialist, and are not “one-size fits all”.

Quickly connect the wearer's phone through a 9-digit code to start every remote session, putting privacy and data security in the wearer’s hands.

Screen mirror

The wearer's mobile phone is displayed on the instructor’s laptop, along with KAT App vibration controls. The instructor can see the wearer and the mobile app at the same time.

Remote control

Instructors use the KAT app to control vibrations that guide the wearer into and through the movement.

This tool can record the whole session including KAT’s kinematic data and movement errors.

File transfer

Allow coaches to share KAT data, training materials, schedules, and other files with the wearer directly through the platform during the session, for easy and efficient record keeping.
