Launch your Instagram application and tap on the messenger icon.

Choose the conversation you want to delete, then swipe to the left and tap on 'Delete'.

Confirm your action by tapping 'Delete' once more.
Note: When you delete a chat, it will disappear from your inbox. However, remember that this action only removes the conversation from your view, not from the view of other participants in the conversation.
