How to Turn Off NameDrop on iPhone (iOS 17)

The NameDrop feature allows sharing the contact cards automatically when two iPhones (iOS 17 and later) bring together. However, this can be risky when you move your iPhone close to another one that you don’t want to share your information with. So you can turn off NameDrop on your iPhone:
Step 1
Launch the Settings app on your iPhone.
Step 2
Tap General.
Step 3
Tap AirDrop.
Step 4
Toggle off Bringing Devices Together.
